Ohio ACTE represents 2,400 career and techincal educators and administrators in Ohio
July 2007 Dues Adjustment
The Ohio ACTE Board of Directors approved a $20 dues increase at their January meeting, effective July 1, 2007, in accordance with Ohio ACTE Bylaws, Article 1C. Dues will be $60 ACTE and $60 Ohio ACTE for a total of $120 annually, plus Division dues.
The Board felt the dues increase was necessary to fund the following:
- Increased member service
- New/Improved Web site with availability of Division specific Web pages
- Online registration for the All-Ohio Conference and other Ohio ACTE and Division activities
- Increased membership promotion and member services
- Database software for accurately tracking Division members
- Increased communication with members through electronic and other means
- Continued/expanded grassroots lobbying efforts
- Protection of the interests of Career Technical and Adult Education in the Ohio legislature
- Increased visibility with the media regarding the importance of Career Technical and Adult Education to Ohio’s economy
- Other services the Board determines as benefits for membership in the future
