The Ohio Association for Career and Technical Education is the leading advocate for career-technical and adult education in the state. If you believe in the mission of career-tech, your support through membership increases our effectiveness with legislators, our communities and students. Other membership benefits include:
Timely Legislative Representation
Ohio ACTE works with legislative counsel to ensure the interests of career-technical education are represented in today's
government at both the state and federal levels. Together, we form successful partnerships with government regulators, officials, administrators and others to help them understand the positive impact career-technical education has on students and Ohio's economy.
Classroom Tools and Best Practices
The Success Series workshops provide opportunities to interact with other educators and share career-field specific practices and programs. Ohio ACTE Divisions also hold their own meetings in their designated areas of expertise.
Connect and Exchange Ideas
The Annual All-Ohio ACTE Conference, Connections to Education, provides opportunities to interact with other educators, businesses and the Ohio Department of Education Office of CTE staff. Attendees can choose from a variety of professional development sessions across a wide range of subjects designed to provide the most relevant and up to date information.
Career-Technical Education News
The Ohio ACTE newsletter Today’s Education Tomorrow’s Career! provides Ohio news and information specifically for career-technical educators. Ohio ACTE also delivers a monthly e-newsletter to keep members current on the latest announcements, events and opportunities across the state. Please visit www.OHIOACTE.org/news to view our new blog.
