*Virtual Legislator Visits: The Legislative Seminar Planning Committee will be attempting to schedule legislative visits for those participating with all of the legislators who represent their CTPD. To be considerate of the legislators demanding schedules (and acknowledge everyone’s virtual meeting fatigue) meetings will be in a team format with other participants also from the legislator’s district. Each registrant will receive an email indicating their legislative visit schedule, team members for the meeting and any interesting information about the legislator that might be helpful. Additionally, a team lead will be assigned to each team; we are asking each team lead to schedule a pre-meeting with their team to plan a blueprint of the meeting flow, i.e. who can lead each legislative priority, who can support with a personal story, etc. Even if you have known your legislator for many years, we are asking participants to look at this as an introductory meeting and use it as a starting point to invite the legislator to their campus and promote more quality interaction throughout the year.
