We are looking into doing a virtual career fair this spring. Has anyone researched the various platforms, other than Zoom, to host an event like this? Our career fair usually features about 70 employers who come in and set up in our cafeteria for our 900 students to visit throughout the day. We are trying to figure out the best way to do it without bringing anyone in and allowing our students to remain in their labs.
We just had ours yesterday. We created a Google site for each employer, college and military branch who chose to participate and organized them into those three categories. Students could choose go into each category, one at a time, and then explore the participants' pages. They included company info, open jobs or jobs they normally hire for, a promo video/photos, etc. The students did this in an organized, in-person session while staff and teachers oversaw their efforts to keep them on track. Here is the start page and contact info for my coworker who organized it all.

Our local economic development agencies and Ohio Means Job are coordinating an event in April that our students will be participating in. They are using Brazen. Here is a two minute demo if you are interested.
We're hosting a Career Exploration Day on Friday the 5th. It's not the same thing as a career fair, but I'm really excited about the format & the topics. Here's a link to the list of sessions we're hosting for our students:
