POSITION:

School Counselor

REPORTS TO:

Director of Operations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

●        Master’s Degree in School Counseling and valid Ohio School Counselor certificate/license

• ●        Successful BCI/FBI screening

QUALIFICATIONS:

The ideal candidate should possess, at minimum, the following:

●                 Knowledge of Career Technical Education

●                 Awareness of integrating Individualized Education Plans

●                 Experience in working with high school age students

●                 Effective student/parent/community communication skills

●                 Interest in working with students at varying educational levels

●                 Organizational, communication and time management skills

●                 Individual and small-group counseling skills

●                 Conflict resolution

●                Technology skills including email, Power Point, Microsoft Office, DASL, and electronic grade book

●                 Eligible to obtain a school van driver’s certificate

WORK YEAR:

2023-2024 school year (185 days) plus 20 days of extended time

SALARY:

Commensurate with certification/licensure and experience

BENEFITS:

In accordance with Pioneer’s Master Agreement
