DIGITAL DESIGN INSTRUCTOR
Our Instructors work to change the world, one life at a time, by helping students reach their dreams through education. The MCCC is looking for a skilled digital design artist who is ready to share their expertise and industry knowledge with the next generation.
STARTING DATE: As soon as possible
SALARY: Appropriate placement on the Teachers Salary Schedule, commensurate with Wxperience and education
REPORTS TO: Principal or Designee

WORK WEEK/YEAR: 184 days as per Board adopted calendar
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Possession of Ohio Teacher Licensure/Certification in Visual Design and Imaging (340100) or the ability to obtain. Minimum of five years of industry-related experience, of which three years are recent. In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Dreamweaver. Ability to work cooperatively with other educators to plan programming for students. Effective student/parent/employer communication skills, instructional techniques, and job development capabilities. Ability to pass a criminal background check.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS: Animation, Interactive Media/Web Design knowledge. Previous teaching experience in career tech. Ability to develop curriculum and knowledge of instructional techniques. Previous experience working with high school students. First Aid/CPR/AED Certifications.
